quote: "This freestanding 'mana' grass (Aristada pruinosa) windbreak or 'milbingi' is designed to protect against wind and blowing sand. A knotting and plaiting technique along the top edge holds it together. This technique was used by the Warlpiri people of the Tanami Desert in central Australia. These structures were also placed over enclosed shelters as roof cladding."
